President and Administrator

Katie is one of the two original founders of Sunnybrook (1989). She oversees the company’s development and overall operations and serves as its primary liaison with government regulating agencies. Katie holds an Associates degree and is a registered nurse with advanced certification.

Jan Bridges, RN, BSN
Nursing Supervisor

Jan joined the Sunnybrook team in 1999. She received her Bachelors degree from the University of Delaware. Jan has an extensive geriatric background and oversees the daily care of each resident.

Elaine Wright

Accounting Officer

Elaine joined the Sunnybrook team in 2002. She has an Associates degree in accounting and also has an impressive accounting and financial planning background.

Cynthia Braden
Activities Coordinator

Cynthia has been an Activity Director since 1998 and is certified by the State of North Carolina. She also has continuing education studies in Alzheimer’s, Motivational Techniques, Communication, and Bereavement.

Cindy Ricker
Administrative Assistant

Cindy just joined our organization last year. She provides support for the daily functions of the office. Her love and concern, with constant care of the residents, make her a real asset.
